Izotope RX7 2021.6 motorboating issue.
 

Since updating one Z440 system to W10/20H1 to install PT2021.6, Izotope plugin RX7 now motorboats the audio when previewing it in the stand alone app. Completely rebuilt the system with a fresh OS and RX 7 worked fine until PT 2021.6 was installed. Anyone else have this issue?

Installing PT 2021.6 won't affect the standalone version of rx7. Been using both PT 2021.6 and rX7 standalone no problem on the Mac in my profile. If you're having issues it's not with the combo programs - you have other issues going on.

....I tried a trial version of RX8 and it motorboats too for the record. All other programs that use windows audio, IE Soundminer, Chrome all media players work fine. Just RX 7+8 that fail immediately after installing PT 2021.6 on two identical systems.

Like I said - installing PT 2021.6 won't affect rX7. You have something else going on with your system. Make sure you're not trying to share your audio interface between Windows and rX or PT.

RX7 in standalone and RX Monitor with PT 2021.6 working fine on MBP 2020 (macintel) with Catalina.

Good that you found a solution; that it happened when you updated to PT 2021.6 is pure coincidence. As I wrote before Windows doesn't do well with sharing audio I/O between different programs at the same time. I'm guessing you were trying to use rX outside of PT with PT running at the same time, right?
