Split stereo into to mono
 

How can i split a stereo track into 2 mono in pro tools..the right and the left side..to get different signals of the stereo image..?

in PT8 i'm pretty sure you can right click the stereo track and choose split to mono.. if you can't right click its in some menu.. probably the region menu, maybe edit

If you have them in a PT session they're already multiple mono files. Simply drag em to some mono audio tracks. If not you can import through the file menu import audio and PT will automatically convert to multiple mono when importing to your session.

and don't forget to correctly set up your left and right faders.
