SSL Delta Link AKA Sydec Madi I/O
Well,
I have been trying out an SSL Delta Link which used to be made by Sydec. ProTools thinks that it is an additional 4 192 interfaces. It sends and recieves 56 I/o via Madi to our Euphonix F5 console. In the last week it is losing its lock-it gets fed 48k work clock from an N Vision master clock. The Sync I/o also gets work clock from the N Vision. 1. Anyone out there have experience with this Delta Link Madi interface and have any insight? 2. My other idea is that certain users (Accounts) on the mac may have corrupt digi files. Which files are system wide and wich ones (probably preferences) are user specific? Thanks Buddy |

We've been using one of these since last September or so without any issues at all. Like you ours is fed WC from an NVision.
In user/library/preferences there is the DigiSetup.OSX file which is the hardware setup preference. You may try deleting this and reset your hardware setup. Contact Quinton @ [email protected] if you are indeed having troubles with the MADI box itself. |

Thanks for the thought. I did spear to Quinton yesterday, he thought perhaps I should feed the WC from the sync I/o to the Delta Link and not straight from the N Vision. Which ways is your Delta Link fed?
