Expert Mouse, Pro Tools 2021
 

I post the here because the problem I'm experiencing is only in the Pro tools.

I'm on KensingtonWorks V2.2.3 and Big Sur 10.16.1.

Seems that my Kensington Expert Mouse is working but in the pro tools 2021.10 but not all the shortcuts are working?!?!

For example, I have created shortcut that the bottom two buttons clicked together do "close" (CMD+W), and that works. The top left button was always being a window switcher for me between MIX and EDIT Window. (CMD+=). that command does not work!?! Go figure,... Reinstalled, replaced,... nothing helps. I installed even Tracball Works, but wants me to authorize it in the system security by clicking "Allow" button, but there is nothing to Allow!
Anybody else experiencing this?

I gave up on the Kensington Driver. It's terrible.
Check out SteerMouse. Much better in so many ways and very reliable.

P.S.: Unless your problems are because you're running PT11.2 on Big Sur? Not sure.

Anybody know of something similar for windows? I also stopped using expert mouse pro drivers.

I've been using Better Touch Tool for about a year and it's been great. They might have a windows version.

Yes, I've been using this one on Win10 for several months now. Works for me (... Kensington drivers do not work ...).

On Windows - X-Mouse Button Control FTW! Not only is it the best mouse driver I've ever used, it's free! I've got 4 layers programmed for editing in Pro Tools using a 7 button Logitech M500 mouse.

Great question. I don't use the Expert (I use an Apple Magic Mouse) but I'd assumed so. It might require checking their specs, tho there's a demo available if someone wanted to try it.
