USB Ethernet Solution for S3 AVB?

Hi forum

I am using my S3 on a Classic Macpro with a Sonnet Ethernet Card.
AVB is working without problems...
The point is, that i maybe want to use 2 HDX Cards...
But to do this, i must remove my ethernet card... (cause i cannot live without my USB3.1 Card)...

My question... Does a USB to Ethernet adapter exist, which provides AVB compatibility...So i can remove the PCIe Ethernet Card...
Thanks for help

I don't think USB supports AVB...Thunderbolt might though

USB will not work. You need PCIe or Thunderbolt. Obviously Thunderbolt does not exist on a Mac Pro cheesegrater.

So... work out how to live without the USB 3.1 card, or get a PCIe expansion chassis. Or wait out Apple and see what they eventually do with the new generation Mac Pro.

Hi....I know, yet thunderclap 3 and USB C are various advancements, they simply end up utilizing a similar connector. The primary contrast in the event that I recollect is that thunderclap utilizes PCIE paths straightforwardly to get to the processor, while USB-C goes through a regulator on the chipset.

My line of reasoning is that since the thunderclap gadget wouldn't be going through the USB regulator on the motherboard, and rather would utilize PCIE (like most legitimate NIC's), the dormancy and organization execution would be generously improved, as the chipset will not need to cradle and retransmit the information.

Why does anything need to be removed? Can you not simply select HDX as the "audio engine"?
