Where is the toolbar menu in PT8?

Where can find the toolbars menu in PT8?
Can you please tell if like Logic Studio where you can edit midi data by using the various edit tools in the toolbars menu like the scissors & eraser etc.

Does PT8 have this option?

Many thanks

PT8 has a lot of midi editing goodies and I recommend checking out any videos you can find on both DigiTV and on youtube. In the lower left of the edit window, there is a small down arrow with a dash under it that opens the midi editor enlarged(and you can drag the upper edge to make it as big as you like). Check the videos and tutorials as there really is too much to try to lay out here.

By right clicking or command clicking (or one of those altered clicks) in the Toolbar area, It brings up the list of what tool icons are visible.. Is this what you mean? I've only played around with that for a minute because I like to have most of the tools visible...

I'm not familiar with Logic Studio, but you can certainly edit MIDI data with tools.. I seem to usually end up leaving the smart tool on or using the pencil tool...

PT8 has a new MIDI editing window that focuses on all the MIDI tools and options. Pretty nice. Good upgrade from previous versions...

One thing to keep in mind is that ProTools is not Logic... Don't expect the same style of editing in both.. Logic may be better at some things and PT will be better at others.. The thing to learn is what the equivalent of the same concept is in both..
