iZotope RX Loudness Control - Automatic Loudness Correction for Broadcast

Introducing RX Loudness Control

Hi all,

We are excited to share that we are growing our RX family of products for post production, and introducing its newest member, RX Loudness Control!

RX Loudness Control automates the tedious task of managing loudness compliance for broadcast. It offers quick, transparent, automatic loudness correction in up to 5.1 surround and includes presets for all major loudness standards including BS.1770-2/3, and the new EBU R128 s1 standard in Europe.

RX Loudness Control does not require any other iZotope software to function (such as RX), but rather, it functions as an offline AudioSuite plugin and processes your final mixdown right in Pro Tools 10-12, and Media Composer 7.0.4 & 8.3.1. Neither does it require background knowledge of loudness standards or their measured parameters (LKFS, True Peak, Short Term, Momentary, Noise Gating, Loudness Range, Tolerance...). RX Loudness Control simply takes your mix, and uses intelligent algorithms and processing to ensure compliance, while transparently preserving dynamics.

All you do is select your preset (i.e. loudness standard), analyze your mixdown, and process. Additionally, it can export your loudness history as a .CSV file as an additional deliverable to your network. Then if you're delivering to multiple territories, repeat! RX Loudness Control can process an entire hour of audio for compliance in under a minute, so delivering to multiple territories or networks with different loudness specs is quick and easy.

We'd love to continue the conversation, let us know if you have any questions!
