Mic, (Cond.) Mic preamp and comp. [All hardware]
 

I've been looking around for:

1: a good & cheap ~100€ cond mic,

2: ~100€ tube-mic-preamp (hw)

3: and hw compressor for about the same price... Any suggestions?

I have ibook G3 with MBOX, a small mixer and an old tube-amp (for guitar) which maybe I can use as mic-pre-amp? And some other stuff...

Intent:

The mic for speak & sing...

The comp for bass/guitar/vocals & other stuff (I plan to use it in the insert on the mbox...

Hmmmm, good AND cheap? That's a tough one. Bang for the buck-I see lots of good opinions for the APEX condenser mics or Studio Projects C-1. Preamps-ART or Behringer single channel jobs(all the cheapies use the low voltage tube setup which is not going to sound like a real vintage piece). Compressor-1 choice only. FMR audio RNC. At under $200 (US) it is hands down the best compressor out there for the money.
