Here's one. Originally recorded on 8 track 1/2-inch tape and remixed on 001.

It's surprising how loud vocals are in a commercial rock mix, bring them up some, those harmonies really set things off! |

Bog,
Ya, I am still working this issue. They want a fast demo.. Just do not want to deliver crap ya know. Took a break for a weekend on the mix and will look at it this week. The compression was a tad high, but i can fix it. Cannot polish a turd right. Good group of people though. Double - wide in burke??? Did not think that existed in my town. Where are you? Do I know you and have we spoke before? Get in touch man, love to meet another DUC'r. My info is on my site... Thanks for listening... never said that it was my best session... - Doc |

Re: Let\'s hear your latest stuff....right here
Chris -
That is a great sound. I cannot belive the quality. Sounds like a commercial cd. I am extremely impressed and at the same time want to know how it is tracked, mixed, plugs, mastered? WOW. WOW. WOW. AMAZING. I guess you can tell I like it. Super balanced, not boomy, full range of sounds... WOW. Big J |
Re: Let\'s hear your latest stuff....right here
yeah chris, superb work.
I'll second the request for technique, etc. bp |

Fantastic, very clean. Me being nitpicky-Maybe a touch too much delay on the vocals when it cuts in heavy & the snare is buried a bit. I think though that this kind of work is a goal for me. And yes, we'd all like to learn from a pro-->How'd ya do it? |

Awesome sound...I second and third the above motions....How'd you do it. I would love to hear the details... Scott |
