Univibe plugin
Does anyone know of a good Univibe plugin? I know there's one in Amplitube 5 but looking for one I can use outside of AT5. I'd rather not have to kludge up a combo of the AT5 one bypassing the preamp/amp/speaker and into an outboard plugin amp like one of the Plugin Alliance amps.
Google/DuckDuckGo search doesn't turn up much. |

Hey there Jack; like with so many sims;
I have never run across a truly satisfying one, where you just say “aah“. But you can get some pretty good sounds out of Audiority Tube Modulator. Another pretty interesting effect, although more akin to a Leslie, is the Yamaha RA-200. (Gilmour-Dogs) Quinto makes a decent replica, but I would advise against purchasing, as his auth system is truly comically absurd… |

Re: Univibe plugin
There is a good one inside Line6 Halix Native. In fact, I find most of the Line6 effects to be spot on and very close to the real stomp boxes that they emulate. It is expensive and complicated, sure, but the sound is right.

Thanks to the both of you. I did cobble together a combo of the UniVibe in Amplitube 5 bypassing both the amp and cab sims into an external plugin amp. Not too bad but cumbersome and if I want stereo I have to set up two paths in AT5 which is easy but I have to adjust each path's plugins one at a time. End up using copy/paste a lot. Not the easiest of things to do. |

I believe Plug n Mix has one as well. It’s pretty good.

Been demoing Tube Modulator and while it's close it's still not close enough for me to a real UniVibe.
