Audio plays before waveform?
 

Hi folks,

I think I've had this issue once before, but don't recall how to resolve it.
The audio is heard before the playhead reaches the waveform, so it makes editing very hard....:rolleyes:

I saw an earlier post here mentioning to turn off delay compensation and up the H/W buffer size. I tried it but no dice...

I also tried unchecking "Ignore Errors during Record/Playback", but that didn't do anything either.

Any ideas?

Hmmmm, sounds like a graphics issue more than a Pro Tools issue.
What are you using for screen(s)?
What resolution?
Have you tried at different zoom levels(horizontally)?

FWIW, I've not seen this here(but I am on Windows):o

It's graphics and not PT. I see it every once in a while in denser sessions. The OP is on a Mac Mini so there's no way to upgrade the video card that I know of. On a simple session it shouldn't happen.
