New DIGI003....problems monitoring inputs while playing back audio...
 

SO , I just got my digi003 installed, maybe I didn`t set something right, but :

1. When I play back already recorded tracks, I canot monitor my synth through the analog inputs...there`s also no audio signal on the track...but if I stop playing back audio, I can hear the synth...I dont know what to do, I need to play some notes over my previous recordings, before I record new tracks, what`s my problem ? please help...

2. Problem no.2 , I cannot listen to any type of music from an internet explorer page through digi003 ?

Need help, I`m stuck.

Solution for #1 depends on how you are monitoring your synth. If you have it assigned to an audio track, set input monitoring to input only(I think under the Options menu or Alt-K). You could also input your synth to a stereo aux input where it would be heard all the time but not record(you can also do both and just mute what you don't need). Meanwhile, read up or watch some of the great tutorial videos on basic recording.

#2 is best dealt with by running a cable from the computer sound card out, into the AUX inputs on the 003 and hit the Aux to Mon button to listen to all non-protools sounds.
