Problems: Latest Tiger Update, Crazy CPU/RTAS meter.
 

Hi!

I updated my Tiger (bad idea...) It was a EFI Update + OS Update, the latest one.

Now the CPU/RTAS meter jumps up and down even when there is just an empty session with no tracks. And even with one mono audio track, the meter will jump all the way to the red and back down, and it's completely unusable, it stops playback instantly.

I run MBox 2 on MacBook Pro 2.4Ghz Intel. It worked fine before.

I wish I could afford a separate offline production use Mac, but I can't...

Anyone having the same issues? Any suggestions?

Did you update via the automatic Software Update? That's a no-no. Try downloading the same OS update straight from Apple's site - get the 'combo' updater version - and re-install that way, see if it helps.

Have you got airport switched on?
