Using Antares Auto tune

Hello folks,

I am doing a mixdown of a jazz session with horns. Unfortunately the horn players weren't the best at listening across to each other and there a number of tuning problems within the section. I am wanting to use Antares Auto tune on them.

I was hoping someone could steer me in the right direction in using this plug-in. I am hoping to use the plug-in effectively without a noticeable sweep in pitch. Should I use the chromatic/ no scale method or the Key/chromatic method? Any advice I could get on proper settings and such would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

It's best to manualy set autotune to fix tuning. The auto mode is quick and dirty.

it all depends on how bad it is. I used to use only the automatic tune, because it was easy and it worked ok. Then I figured out the graphical mode and it's much better, but if the notes aren't held atleast a bit, it's hard to do. It usually sounds better that way. I've always set the proper key it works well for me.
