problem with bouncing to wav format

hello everyone. when i try to bounce a song to wav format it doesnt seem to work. i specify a location and pro tools goes through the bounce process (plays through the song), but then doesnt give the loading thing to say its converting the files. weve tried uninstalling the program but that doesnt seem to work. any one else experienced this problem? thanks in advance

I take it you selected the "Convert after bounce.." option? I would try it both ways to see if it makes any difference.

The only trouble I've had personally creating the wav was a too slow hard drive, but it did produce an error.

Carnavos,
You'll need to be more specific about the process..
Are you getting error messages ?
What version of LE ?
Did you specify a "convert" process ?
Where did you direct the BTD to go ? Did you search for the file ?
good luck,

in response to the questions above:
there were no error messages
pro tools LE version 6.7
i tried both during and after bounce conversions
i directed the bounce to my normal folder where i do that and it didnt show up. i searched other places too, but to no avail.

thanks

Re: problem with bouncing to wav format

OK,
what file format are you bouncing to ?
Have you tried to stay with the session's attributes and "import after bounce "//going to the same session's audio folder ?
If it shows up there ( region list ) you can export to the desired location/format again.
Try that, see if it works.
good luck,
