New Pro Tools user seeks advice
 

Hi all.

I am new to this forum and equally new to Pro Tools 10 after hearing and seeing so many good things about it.

The problem I am is having may seem simple to you but I cannot find a solution to the issue. Basically I have two mono channel tracks open, one with my guitar going into PT10 from my mbox mini and the other channel track with an imported drum loop that came with my soft wear and drivers when I bought PT10. The problem I am having is that when I play the drum loop my guitar track cuts out, as soon as I hit the space bar to stop the drum loop the guitar input single returns. I have gone over all the I/O settings as well as the playback engine but cannot find a solution to this problems.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

The keyboard shortcut referred to toggles between Input Only Monitoring and Auto Input Monitoring. Check the Reference Manual for the difference between the two.
