FS: Protools HD12 with ilok
 

Have one to spare,

so i am selling it with the ilok2;

-1x perpetual license valid until nov16, currently on 12.5.2. HD

asking 1200EUR, personal pickup welcomed, we could also do it through ebay.
Paypal is OK if you pay the fees, otherwise a bank transfer is also OK.

As far as I know its not a perpetual license if its valid until a certain date only.
Or am I wrong?

I think we are both right.

with the purchase you are at ease that whatever upgrade the AVID will come up with till November 2016, you are covered. After that, you keep you license, but upgrading is not possible.

Upgrading is possible if its a valid license and the new owner would need to renew the support plan, if you can't renew then something is not right with this license sale.

Are you shure Avid will let you sell a HD12 license w/o hardware as thats not allowed before? You need to check this if you want anyone to be interested.

the license can be renewed by the new owner.

I wasn't aware, that this its not possible to sell license which you don't need anymore. i have 2, and only 1 computer.

No worries, it is just the HD licenses and Avid have never allowed sales of HD licenses unless the came from a PT11+CPTK 2 upgrade but you can use the TOO form and see if you can sell anyway. However in order for the new owner to be able to register and get updates and upgrades the license needs to be transfered to new owner and OK'd by Avid :-)

i wouldn't transfer license, this comes with an ilok and all the credentials, though.

Yes but the ilok would need to be registered at iLok.com and Avid to new owner in order to get HD12 updates and be able to upgrade to HD13 and so on. Whatever the case Avid needs to do this transfer and you need to use theavid TOO (Transfer Of Ownership) form.
