New laptop, issues launching protools - now issues with Ilok after re-install
In my Ilok account I have a license for protools 10/11/12. I've downloaded version 12.8.3. When try to start the software it does not recognize my iLok and only gives me the option to quit. In my Ilok license manager I can see that the Ilok is connected and has the license.

Maybe this software is beyond my license.
Under my products I see: Academic License 12.5.2, however the download links for the software do not function. In the download center I see: 12.6 and 12.3.10. Is the 12.3.10 the highest version of the software which I can currently download with my license? |

I've tried to install 12.3.10, however it says the software is incompatible with my computer.

Its tough to help when we have zero detail on the computer or interface:o Since your license is for PT 12.5.2, that is the version you need to try(assuming its compatible with your OS, which you never mention).

I am running MacOS Big Sur version 11.5.1 on the Macbook Pro M1 2020. Does this mean that my version of protools is officially defunct?

Yes, PT12 will not run on Big Sur
