APOGEE?

Does the Apogee D/A/D converter really make that much difference? I hear a lot of people talking about the sound quality compared to other Pre's. Is is true?

Apogee is well established and respected in the conversion biz.
I don't see how would you compare A/D/A process with "other Pre's."
