My RODE USB microphone not recognized by Pro Tools First

1 Attachment(s)
Hello, I am new here.

Before switching to Pro Tools, I just installed Pro Tools First to see.

I have a RODE NT USB microphone. This microphone does not have a sound card, the software does not recognize an input. However, my microphone is well checked in my hardware configuration like the attached image.

Can anyone help me?

I'm on iMac Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2017, macOS Montorey 12.6, 4.2 GHz Intel Core i7 quad-core processor, 16 GB 2400 MHz DDR4 memory.

Thanks

Re: My RODE USB microphone not recognized by Pro Tools First

Pro Tools First has been discontinued for a while now, is a few versions behind and also had limited input/output capabilities. If you really want to try out Pro Tools, I would suggest the 30-day trial, which will give you a better idea of what the software can do.

You could also just do a one month subscription to Pro Tools Artist, which would be $10.00 and you can either not renew if it's not for you, or renew the subscription if it works out.

Je suis désolé, mon français n'est pas bon.

I am not familiar with Pro Tools First. But I would suggest looking at the "Pro Tools Aggregate I/O" in your Audio Devices window. Ensure the Rode Entree and Sortie are both listed within the Aggregate.

Then in Pro Tools set your playback engine as the Pro Tools Aggregate. After that you can should be able to open the I/O Setup window and see the input from the Rode.
