Exponential Audio Stratus is amassing for post!
 

I used EA PhoenixVerb Surround (and R2 Surround too) since they were out in 2013.
I should note that they had solely replaced my Revibe, Space and other verbs I ever used for post.

However I just tried a new Stratus surround reverb and it felt instantly as its an upgrade from the PhoenixVerb Surround.
No matter whether its called Stratus or update to Phoenix , I just bought it!;)
IMHO all the new options it has + plenty of newer presets + a better UI are well worth $153.30 of upgrade price.

I am not related in any way to the manufacturer, just thought you might want to know about this great deal for this great tool!

PS: I didn't post it in the plugin section as there are not too many people in post looking there.

Glad to hear some feedback. I’ve had my finger on the buy-button. Have you compared it to their other new reverb, Symphony?

To my understanding the Symphony is an "upgrade" to R2 Surround.
Honestly I am not using R2 in my workflow too often, so I didn't care for this upgrade specifically.

Where did you find an upgrade price that cheap? I’m looking at their upgrade pricing from my surround Phoenix for a bit and it’s twice that. Even with the holiday sale discount it doesn’t get that low.

I have been using "Stratus 3D and Symphony 3D" on an Dolby Atmos project for a while.
They are AMAZING! Demo and buy them!
They are going to replace every other reverb I have!
WOW DO THEY SOUND GOOD!!!

You should open an upgrade page: https://www.exponentialaudio.com/upgrade-usd
Then scroll down to the: UPGRADES FROM PHOENIXVERB SURROUND

You'll see:

Upgrade Price: $219

Stratus
This is the Pure Surround Bundle
which includes
PhoenixVerb Surround and Stratus

Then press "add to cart" you'll see the popup window where in small text written "Got a code?". Press on it and insert : FunWithPlugins2017US

The price will be updated to $153.30

I demoed Stratus yesterday and I agree it sounds great.
Its got really good localisation when panning into it and I love the option to dirty up the reverb tail with Warp.
Loads of new interesting presets too.

I'm going to try Symphony today and see if I need them both,
if my template can take the strain. ;)

Okay, I see my confusion. I was only looking at pricing for Stratus3D, not Stratus.
