Lost regions/ files not relinking
 

Hello all. I'm new to the forum and a fairly new PT user.

Has anyone expirienced opening up a session that you've been working on and seeing some of the regions in the edit window but no waveforms? I also get the find and relink audio prompt then the xxx- files could not be found etc. All my automation is there within the region boundries but no audio. I'm sure I'm NOT looking at "block" intead of "waveform". I've also searched the "session file backups" with no luck. It seems to be a random occurance but once it's gone, it seems to be lost from every volume I save it to.


I'm running a Sweetwater Dual Core 3.4 XP Pro with 2 gig ram PC with PT LE version 7.3.1

Everything gets de-fragged and backed up (religiously) to a Lacie FW 7200rpm external drive.
