Midi Drum edit window

Wondering how everyone does midi drum maps. I find it a nightmare on pt. Its so slow and boring it puts me off. Often i will use several midi tracks each assigned to a particular note but for editing velocity it is useless and you have to constantly resize and switch between notes/velocity. DP has a great drum edit window where you put your note on and drag the note to fill a column for velocity so there is no switching so it is easy and creative!! Any ideas. I actually dread doing it now.
Thankyou

I feel the same way, so I've been using logic for all my drum mapped MIDI tracks, sounds like logic works the same as DP. I have to admit though I am still only using PT 6.4 because it is stable on my system. I've heard there have been many MIDI upgrades to PT since 6.4 and it looks like that may be continuing with 7. Maybe this issue has or is being addressed with PT 7, I really don't like have to use two programs to get the job done.

Hi.

There are several shortcuts and selection methods that speeds up midi editing, as with audio. Read the Reference guide.
Good luck.
