Pro Tools LE 5.1.1. where to download update file?

Hi there,

Coming from a long time user of the Digi001 (Mac OS 9) system. I was wanting to get the update file for Pro Tools LE 5.1.1. Based from the archive.digidesign.com website, it is a free download for PT LE 5.1 users, unfortunately though the link that is provided is broken and does not allow me to download the free update. I was wanting to know, would someone have a link to the update file?

Thanks for checking my thread, hope to hear from you.

You should search the DUC b/c I have seen people posting the active link b/F - every once in a blue moon - someone asks for it and say its dead - someone then. Finds the active one

Do a few good searches and you might find the last post asking doe those links

Hi yyr123,
thanks for your reply, unfortunately that seems to be the problem it only comes up once in blue moon... ps thanks for the 001 offer, but I'm set with equipment at this moment

If someone may have an active download link, it would be great to hear from you.

Hi everyone, a thought that came to mind. I still have my disc for PT LE 6.4 with the registration card, if I send that through would Avid be able to provide me with the PT LE 5.1.1 update?

I didn't try downloading it, but the page for it is still up:

http://archive.digidesign.com/download/511/

EDIT: looks like you need to enter your serial number to be able to download.

Hi John,

Yes that's the page, the very one that leads to broken link. After filling in the form, with serial number, name, read the licence agreement, etc, then I click on "I Accept - Download" and get taken to this page:

I've tried different browsers and the result is the same. Is there an alternative way around this?

If someone may have a copy of the update and are able to upload, I would really appreciate hearing from you.
