can you open PT 7.0 files in 6.9?
 

i'm currently running PT 6.9 on a G4 desktop machine (digi002R system). i have a macbook (intel dual duo core 2) and am considering getting PT 7 for it, in the event i run out of processing on the G4.

would i be able to open the 7.0 files on my 6.9 machine and vice versa?

You would have to save your version 7.x sessions as 6.x versions. Version 7.x can open any previous version.

Yes, Save Session Copy In... (The same function is in every version for saving backwards).
