how to get back from VCA spill on S1
 

Hey all,

we are using two S1 and one Dock. When spilling VCAs, the VCA-master is on the Dock and we can get out of spill with a softkey, that responds to Control on the iPad.
Sometimes we use other apps on the iPad while mixing. If the Control app is not active on the iPad, there is no softkey to get out of spill.
In this case I found no way to get out of spill. No Eucon comand, no shortcut.
Does someone know to do that?

double-tap on the SEL key of the master to get into and out of folders/VCAs (at least that's how it works on the S1 and Artists). No need for an iPad or Eucon command at all.

Hey Fellows,

thank you for your suggestions!
I had VCA master assigned to the Dock. So "normal" unspill was not possible in that situation.
I will try nudge buttons trick next week.

Well, that's confusing. It works just the same. Double tap SEL on the VCA channel to open/close. If you have the VCA master assigned to the Dock, you just do it with the SEL on the dock fader. If you are losing the VCA master, in EuControl Settings, Preferences, make sure under "Single-Master Mode" that in addition to "Assign VCA master/folder track to Dock" you have the "Lock spilled master to Dock" box checked

I just didn't want to switch preferences every time I need so use a different app on the iPad.
Pressing nudge buttons works like a dream :-)
