RCA inputs to digi 002. help?
 

i'm trying to run a scratchy cassette recording out the headphone jack of my player into the digi 002. on the back it says "alt src input" next to two RCA connectors. how do you get RCA inputs into a protools track?

Hit the ALT-SRC TO IN 7-8 button, select input 7-8 and arm record the track. You should hear your casstte player and see the level meter react in PT. Hit record and you're off.
After that, take a few minutes and read the Quick Start Guide PDF. It's amazing, and there's a movie version in the works, I can't wait!
