COVID19 Lockdown SFX
 

Hi All,

Since lockdown here in South Africa the sounds of our day to day life are certainly different. I am collecting unique sounds of the lockdown, anything from quiet neighbourhoods, or cities with no traffic of little movement, people cheering from balconies etc, the collection will be curated and made available to all anyone who requests... whatever formats you are able to record.

All sounds will need to be free from any licence restrictions...

Awesome idea.

Although I can see having to explain myself to authorities. Guy wearing a face mask with a bag of electronics standing on the street corner pointing a mysterious device around....

Leaving the house would not be a good idea.

I guess this is aimed at what ever you can do from home, ie perhaps if you live in the city, there may be something you could record from a balcony, or from our garden. We have people cheering from there balconies in support of emergency services every night which i can record from my place.
