vocalign

Anybody have any experience with vocal align? I'm trying it out and am having trouble figuring out how to use it?

Any quick tutorials out there?

Thanks!

I saw that video but the dude talks to fast so I was having trouble understanding. Also, I was trying to figure out how to do it without the short cuts. Thanks in advance.

Re: vocal align

use the "I" tool to select the area you want to process. Goto your AudioSuite menu, select VocALign. Click the Guide button, click capture. Select your track to be aligned, select the Dub and hit capture, then Align, then spot and move onto your next track. Select your track to be aligned, select the Dub and hit capture, then Align, then spot and move onto your next track. etc, etc. I actually find it much easier and faster using the A/Z keyboard shortcut keys.

I'm.using an older version. Version 3.1 I think. Is "spot" and "process" the same thing. When the process is complete shouldn't I see the track I'm trying to change have a separate region and shouldn't I see it shift? Thanks.

Not sure, I'm using the Pro version. I would assume it might be. Spot replaces the old misaligned region with the new aligned region. Save your session, try Process and see, you can always undo.
