Magic ID

All software is up to date.

I'm trying to load an archived session from 2019 and getting the magic id not found message. I've tried using a session from the backup folder and importing to a new session. Both still give me the magic id error.

Is there anything else to try before I simply go back to an original unmixed version and do it all over again?

Re: Magic ID

Create a new empty session and import all session data from the magic id session into it. Try different copy versions, starting with 'force to target'.

From what I've read, Magic ID is something like a checksum used to ensure data integrity or non corruption. (Feel free to correct me if I'm mistaken)

This was the only solution that worked for me when I had this error happen.

I get the same error message when doing this from the corrupt session and even all it's backups.

Try importing 1 track at a time. If doing all tracks, 1 corrupt file will stop the entire import. You might get lucky and pin the issue to a single track:o
