Password Reset Not Working
 
I've recently reformatted my computer and need to install Pro Tools 10 again. I forgot my password because it's been set to auto login for all this time. I have gone to reset my password and it says they've reset my password and that they've sent me an email with the new one. Every time a try, no email shows up. I've tried this like 10 times over the course of the week.

Anyone have any idea how I can get this sorted out? Any help would be much appreciated.

- Yes, the email I'm typing in is correct
- Yes, there is an account tied to said email

Are you referring to your https://account.avid.com login?

That one worked. Thank a lot!

I was going to the avid website and go to sign in.

https://www.avid.com/US/account/orientation

That's the URL it would take me to. I can't make a new Master Account because it says I already have one, and I can't reset the password there either.

Hi DigiCS I didn't know where else to post this and I didn't want to start a new thread for it, I am having problems changing my email address in the Avid master account at http://account.avid.com When I get to the page to change it I receive a "500 Internal Server Error" message stating "We're sorry but the web server encountered an unexpected condition that prevented it from fulfilling your request. We apologize for any inconvenience." Any help would greatly be appreciated.

We reset your Avid Account password and emailed you. Do you still have access to that email account?

Hi there,

I have a similar problem.

when i created my avid account, i entered the wrong email address.
When i tried to log back into my avid account it would not allow me access.
I attempted a few password resets only to realize that my new password has been sent to an email address that does not exist.

this means that i cannot access my pro tools 11 to download.
I know my username, but my password is in limbo.

How can I access my account?


Please, any kind of help would be awesome.

Hi,

I have the same problem. I forgot my password so I tried clicking 'Forgot Password', I then received the email with the temporary password but the password didn't work. Tried many times but still not working. Here is the link I'm trying to log in to https://www.avid.com/US/account/orientation .Kindly help on this. Thank you in advance =)
