Newbie looking for help...
 

I have a the mbox 2 mini and protools 9. I cross graded from 8. I have everything set up, i have sound coming through the speakers. If i mute the mbox, it will mute the speakers. however, after I select a new track, and select input 1 and hit record, nothing records. I can't get the track to recognize the input or something.

The meter will stay lit, all the up to yellow, and when I mute the mbox the lights dissappear. So, I figure I am really close, but I'm just not getting it.

any ideas?

Not enough info to try and help you find an answer. Be more detailed about how you have your studio setup (what is plugged into where etc) - there's a thread called "Help Us Help You" that you should probably read.
