exporting soundfiles

how do i export tracks that have been edited (ie vocal comps) for use in other studios
(in this case one w/ an alesis hd24) w/out having them break down into the individual regions of which they are comprised?

i need to export all the tracks so they can work on the song, not just one track. but i do not want to include material i've edited out.

thanks for your help. this is my very first post!

Re: exporting soundfiles

step 1: Select all the regions of a track and consolidate (Edit menu or alt+shift+3) the regions making each track of multiple regions into 1 region. Make sure everything starts at the same time.

step 2: select the region(s) you would like to export

step 3: open up the region bin (bottom right corner, looks like arrows next to each other)

step 4: in the region bin, the files that correspond to your selected regions should be highlighted

step 5: right click a highlighted file in the region bin and choose "export selected as file". You can also do this from the small arrow at the top of the region bin, next to the word "regions"

step 6: select your file format and settings, normally "multiple mono" at the current sample rate and bit depth of the original recording.

Exporting does not include plug in effects or automation, for that you must bounce.
