Protools 2018.10 and Tascam US2400

I have a Tascam US2400 control surface and im running protools 2018.10 on a mac mini 2012 OSX High Sierra, it works however the faders do not respond to there positions correctly and they do not shut down to the bottom as they should. does anyone know what could be the problem? everything else works as it should.

Is it set up properly under the Peripherals menu? Should be as 3 HUI controllers for the full 24 faders(8 per "device"):o

I did that the faders still do not go where they are supposed to

Do the faders write automation? What mode is Pro Tools automation in?
