Post module layout auto-recall not happening.
I moved PT mix templates, S6 layouts, prefs, titles, everything from one mix room to another via USB drive. Both rooms are setup exactly the same. My track layouts mostly came over, but my post layouts did not. I rebuilt the post layouts and now the module is NOT auto-recalling the layout when I open the session. I can manually load via layout button, but am curious as to why auto-load stopped. All options for Auto-load from titles and session are selected in the MTM prefs.

Re: Post module layout auto-recall not happening.
Greetings,
Let us know what Master Module software version + PT version you are on please. Also, are you indicating that you can get your Post Layouts back by loading the appropriate Title file from the Master Module? Thanks. Jeff |

DOH! I'm forgetting DUC 101. Sorry.

Thanks. So you have both Post Module State and Post Layouts ticked, and on the WS page -> you see Pro Tools 21 Mac with a Blue Star for the app to save the data to yes?
Also - did you say that you can freely load Title files from the MTM and it does bring back the Post Layouts? Thanks. Jeff https://www.dropbox.com/s/uemi70k5v0...Load.png?raw=1 |
Re: Post module layout auto-recall not happening.
Yes, those are all ticked. There is no blue star next to PT21 on the MTM.
Yes, I can load title files on the MTM and it will bring back the post-layout, it just won't auto-load. Now I'm noticing that on certain PT sessions, it brings back the post-layout, but the tiles are blank. |
Re: Post module layout auto-recall not happening.
If there is no Blue Star associated with Pro Tools then the console doesn't know where to recall and save the data to. You need to touch ProTools21Mac on that WS to give it a Blue Star - then try saving and recalling your layouts.
