Export clips with fades

Seems my batch fading was for nothing.

I usually cut my raw audio recording (one master clip) into multiple clips. I then batch fade them. I then do a CMD+SHFT+K to export them.

I thought that my fades were being retained, but now I believe that there is absolutely no rendering as compared to the original file (except that they've been cut up; that's the only difference from the original).

How can I quickly export each individual clip with the fades? I prefer not to consolidate, and I prefer not to bounce.

Re: Export clips with fades

I found a workaround.

Basically, after I've made tons of clips and add a batch fade (select all, then CMD+F), I do this:

Select all
Audiosuite Gain
"Create Individual Files"
"Entire Selection"
Render

I'm having a similar issue and I imagine you may be able to answer it. I've toggled the volume control under my drum track to fade it in and out during the song. Now when I export the darn stem and listen to the stem, the export apparently failed to print the fade onto the stem. I'm confused. I'm new to using PT First.

Because you have used volume automation.

You need to bounce the file to disk. Exporting it from the clip list won’t add anything from the timeline.
