Mbox 3 - Flashing leds - Hardware Not Connected"
 

Help,

I just installed pro tools le as instructed, but the new Mbox 3 behaves weirdly. The comp won't recognize it at all and the only thing happens is all the led lights (power, dim, mono ect - except the 2nd input sig/clip led) just cycle through on the interface when connected. I've tried to uninstall-reinstall everything (drivers & pt) without any luck. Any thoughts?

MacBook Pro doesn't power up Mbox 3 by usb??
 

Well it seems like the 4-5 year old alu MacBook Pro doesn't have enough juice to power up the Mbox 3 by usb...damn it, I wouldn't call the mbox 3 exactly a mobile solution. Any way to fix this issue?

Hey did you ever figure out a solution to this?
Everything was working fine and now I am getting this light show on my mbox 3. ..
