Pro Tools 11, Windows, and Digi 002?

I have been trying to do some research into whether or not the Digi002 plays nice with PT11 on a Windows operatoring system.

I have seen a lot of posts for MAC users having success, but not a lot of Windows users.

Can any Windows users who are running PT11/002 let me know if you are having success? If not, what are the issues you have been coming across?

I just want to make sure the 002 is solid, before making the purchase (I am going to put this and Win8 on a separate hard drive, so I can at least go back to 9, if there are any issues)

Thanks!
Keith

Re: Pro Tools 11, Windows, and Digi 002?

Just downloaded the demo hoping the 002 would work but it would seem that is not the case. If I try and use the new 002/003 drivers neither PT 10 or 11 work so i am stuck on the older drivers. Using them allows PT 11 to load however it only works as a device to output audio, none of the other features work such as the faders, display etc.

Unless someone has a magic idea it is looking like time to get a new device.. a sad thing as I still have no issues with the 002.

Lets make this the place to find a solution!

Could we get some clarification on whether or not the 002 will be supported in the future?

From the Avid Knowledge Base:
For Mac: "Known Issue: Digi 002 Console and Rack not supported for PT 11 at this time"

For PC: "Known Issue: Digi 002 Rack not supported"
Would love to hear that they will release a working driver in the near future...

Re: Pro Tools 11, Windows, and Digi 002?

The latest 002 driver seems to be working better in a Mac than Windows. My 002r Mac works well. The console versions have issues.

As you see, they say "at this time." So maybe later if they get other bugs fixed.
