Sync M-Powered 7.4 to MPC 2000XL
 

M-Powered Pro Tools 7.4, running on a G5 1.8 GHz, OS 10.4.9

This is a pretty sophomoric question…but, how do I sync my M-Powered PTs 7.4 to my MPC…trying to record vocals to Pro Tools…my midi info is in my MPC…I want Pro Tools (master) to trigger the MPC (slave)…or vice versa if easier. I know about MIDI connections (in, outs)..just need to know the settings within Pro Tools and the MPC...I had it working in LE, but can't get it done now...

What settings are needed Pro Tools?…I would think 'Hardware', but it directs me to my M-Audio Projectmix…The sync box on the projectmix only has internal(digital muted), internal digital (unmuted), external (digital) and Word Clock….MIDI is being received by the projectmix (green light illuminates), but the thing won't trigger play…even with it online. What am I missing? Thanks
