PT9 and Digi002 ... not hearing any panning
when I'm listening back to tracks I'm not hearing any panning Everything is reading correctly (ie. master fader and such) but it just sounds like it's coming from everywhere ..... not mono sounding but more like stereo but no panning..... I switched headphones .... listened with the monitors changed 1/4 inch adaptors nothing is working to fix it it wasn't doing this 3 days ago so frustrating any help would be greatly appreciated |
Re: PT9 and Digi002 ... not hearing any panning
Did you accidentally hit the "Mono" button?
|
Re: PT9 and Digi002 ... not hearing any panning
no ........ it's definitely not mono but the panning hard left and right is not there
it's as if all the stereo tracks are panned at 100left 100 right ..... even tho' they're not ......... tried everything |
Re: PT9 and Digi002 ... not hearing any panning
Do you have a master track in your session? Is it happening in all sessions? If its only some, maybe you accidentally created a mono master. Delete it and add a stereo master track.

Re: PT9 and Digi002 ... not hearing any panning
there is a stereo master fader
and if I hard pan a track left it reads that way on the master but sound wise it's not |
Re: PT9 and Digi002 ... not hearing any panning
Have you already tried the obvious and hitting default on your i/o setup?
|
Re: PT9 and Digi002 ... not hearing any panning
haven't tried that but I will tonight
thanks ...... I'll give anything a shot at this point everything is just coming from everywhere no definition to the mix drives me nuts |
Re: PT9 and Digi002 ... not hearing any panning

Much extreme panning, but that cheap drum machine is in the center, it's definetly nothing wrong with the mix. I think you have something wrong with your listening environment, cabling or something. |
