Should I keep my mbox 2, or get a m audio interface
 

I was wondering if I should keep my mbox2, or get a fast track ultra? A friend of mine wants to trade me his ultra, but the only disadvantage is I will go down to 7.4, not 8, and I dont intend of paying the extra cash right now. Im currently running a i7 pc, so are the any advantages going with the maudio, (better latency, etc, more inputs). The only reason I like PT 8 is because it comes with the vari-fi, and a few extra plugins, but if I vari-fi comes on 7.4, that would be great. I just want to get some opinions on what 2 do.

Unless you upgrade to MP8, you will lose a lot of new features and Plug-ins, although 7.4 is arguably more stable.
