Adding a measure to middle of song
Hello,
How do I add a measure in the center of a song, preserving everything that's been done after the edit. I have tempo changers and lots of MIDI. When I slide it, the tempo changes don't move, making all the midi a mess. Would like to grab the song, silde the end back. add the missing measure, then drag the end back to meet the newly added measure. Thank you. |

Event menu/Time/Insert Time.
For audio on all Playlists to move, every track needs to be in Playlist View mode. |

Worked perfect. That just opened up an entire new way of looking at things.
Thank you very much. Tom |

Basically we had a track, went through it all doing identify beat, marked every bar because we were adding midi to it. Then when we listened back the drums had a bar that was too slow and needed to be sped up at like bar 9. We used TCE and the 'b' key to chop and rearrange it so that it was the same speed as everything else. But then we had a gap either before or after it that we had to shuffle the rest of the track up to. We shuffled the start as it was only 8 bars. But then all our bar markers were out of alignment. Bassically I want to remove time and have all the bar markers shuffle along like in the method you have suggested for adding time. |

If you Shift-Click in your rulers (they'll darken to show selection) before doing any Edit operation, that info will follow.
