Does anyone know if there have been any major label releases tracked with the 001?

Our next release is suppose to come out on JVC/Victor in Japan and everything but the drums was tracked on the Digi001 at my house. I would have tracked the drums at home too but didn't have enough room. We mixed at Morrisound studios in the A room on the SSL console. I think it came out fairly well. You can have a listen if you want. I have one of the tracks up on MP3.com. It's called "Sixteen's Gone".

We are actually going to try some of our own mixes at home too. I'll post one of those as soon as we finish.

Mac B&W G3 300mhz
288megs RAM
2 - 6 gig ATAs and a Cheetah 10,000RPM
18gig Ultra SCSI hardrive
OS 8.6
Digi001
For vocals:
Vintech Mic pre (neve components)
Empirical labs distressor
Audio Technica 4033
For guitars:
Shure 57's
various Fender amps and a 2 -12 cabinet
For Bass:
Direct using a Focusrite Voicemaster mic pre...(just used the mic pre part of this unit)
This has been fun making this work. Of course we are still learning alot.

you've got to admit superbee that running the tracks throught the ssl makes a world of difference.....it takes your song up 100 notches...try as you might...the headroom just gets better mixing through a beast of that nature.

A 'major' indie label is releasing my track 'Next Level' as we speak: 6am eternal
. Of course, they will master it before putting it on the CD and what you will hear here is the unmastered mp3 version...it will have major distribution worldwide.

All the tracks on my site were produced using Digi001 and Logic Audio.
