Problems opening Mac session on PC
 

Greetings from Mac Land,
I've built a PC to run my HD 3 rig. The machine seems fine and PT 9 runs ok, as far as I can tell from limited use.
However, opening sessions created on my G5 is not going well.
At first it was Autotune Evo that caused the crash, any session with Evo on a track was DOA, no work around just had to relaunch.
Then Smack complained.
I was able to the Smack / Autotune session but when I clicked on the AT plug, the session went haywire. No recovery, reboot.

I have a message in to Antares hoping for help, also downloading the PT9 update, so for now, with a session in 20 minutes, it's back to the Mac.

I worried that it something more nasty than just Autotune throwing a fit.
AFAIK, all my plugs are the latest Windows versions.

PC specs, followed 'digidesigner's' build:

PT 9 HD 3 Accel, (PCI)
Gigabyte P55 uD3L
i7 875k
8 gb of Corsair
Win 7 64 bit, no updates

Any sage advice is welcome.

Hold shift while opening a session to disable all plugins in the session. This should allow you to open it and make the changes you need to plugin selections.

I've not had any issues with AT or Smack. Perhaps you could try running Pro Tools as administrator if you haven't yet.
