S4 availability ?
 

Just recently reached out to a local dealer here in Australia re s4 availability as we have some larger projects coming up over the next 12 months. Their information was the S4 is discontinued along with the S3.

Is this correct or has there been a miscommunication? I understand S3 is EOL but the S4 being one of the newest surfaces surely not?

Any inside or common knowledge here ?

While the Avid S3 is indeed at its end of sale, S4 is absolutely not. Feel free to PM me if you want to discuss further regarding the particular reseller who communicated this in error.

Avid S4 is a relatively new console and has years left in it. We do have some issues with getting parts to make them though like all manufacturers at the moment, so there are delays between ordering and getting them unfortunately.
