older plugins

Hi there,
is it possible to run older plugins(from ProTools5 or so) in ProTools Le ver.6.4 ?
A friend of mine told me that there is a kind of converting program.
Is it true or is my last chance buying the plugins again for ProTools Le 6.4?

No, any 5.x plug-in will need to be updated via the manufacturer to be used in OSX/PT6.x. In some cases the updates are free, other charge a nominal fee for the upgrade.
