Jerky Video in 6.1
 

Since I upgraded to 6.1 I have got a more jerky video playback
I have to set video playback to highest mode to get is as smooth as I had in 5.5.3 with medium setting.
Actually..the video playback in 6.1 is so jerky with medium setting that it is impossible to work with.

Why is this ?

I am using a low cpu demanding MJEG compression and my computer is very fast.
It shouldn´t make any difference.

if you can put the movie into quicktime format .mov I have two clips of the exact same file one mpeg and one quicktime, the quicktime runs perfectly the mpeg is jerky. I think its because the support for movie files in PT is quicktime, and quicktime just happens to play mpegs too.

No the video is not in MPEG , which would of course be jerky cause of the cpu intense decoding MPEG has.

The video clip i s MJPEG and I have encoded it myself, runs perfectly smooth in 5.5.3 but jerky in 6.1
