DAE error -9131 when importing wave files

This morning I started importing drum tacks that were recording in Pro Tools and mailed to me. I am using HD 7.2. I load the session and then hit File - Import and point it to the folder on the DVD that was sent to me. All of the tracks import into my session properly etc, but when I hit play, I get the DA error -9131. Any idea what might casue this? Should I import the drum tracks some other way?

If I remember correctly, that error relates to the source drive being somehow corrupt. The DVD you're importing from might have been burned wrong or had some kind of error during its creation. Try copying the files onto your hard drive and importing from there. If the files won't transfer, you'll know for sure the DVD is corrupt. If they do and then import fine, I guess the DVD might not have been in the most kosher format. If they transfer and then won't import while giving you the same error, I have no idea what the problem may be, as the error cited relates to the source drive more than to the files themselves.

drenkrom, you are spot on man. I copied the files to a folder on my desktop and then imported them and it worked flawlessly. Hopefully one day I can repay your kindness. There were 10 songs total and I had nightmares about how I was gonna get it to work properly. You saved the day. Thanks again, Alan
