Run Time Error R6025 Pure virtual function call PT 8.0.4
 

I keep getting "Run Time Error R6025 Pure virtual function call" when using plug-ins (Dverb, Dess, etc.) in PT 8.0.4. Windows 7, 64, 1TB. Any thoughts out there?

Same problem here. Clean installed back to M-Powered 8.03. Standard installation, no extra plug-ins, and using Windows 7 Pro (Enterprise) 64-bit. Software crashes when an AudioSuite plug-in (testing with D-Verb) is applied or after stopping a Preview. Pressing Preview once to listen doesn't crash but pressing it a second time to stop the preview does crash. This problem exists in both 8.03 and 8.04 of M-Powered.

Additionally, I have experienced this exact crash behavior in M-Powered Essentials version 8.03, however version 8.02 of M-Powered Essentials does not crash. I wish an equivalent 8.02 version was available for regular M-Powered.

I have filed a bug report but given the announcement of Pro Tools 9 I doubt Avid even cares.
