WANTED: Jr Assistant Sound Editor/Mixer - LOS ANGELES
 

Looking for a part time assistant sound editor to work nights and weekends as needed. You would be cutting dialog, music, and fx and possibly pre-mixing for TV on various cable networks. There's also some film and web work.

Reality TV experience is a plus -- TV experience is a must -- or you must at least be able to keep up with the pace of TV.

Pay is 100/day. This is a great position for someone with chops that needs to build credits --

I am looking for someone who knows what they are doing. It's fine if you are just out of school if you know what you're doing and are quick/good.

Of course the pay sucks. Mite work for someone who wants to cut their teeth though. If someone wants to work at that rate by all means. Doesn't mean they are going to do it forever or that they have no common sense. I also rather see this rather then some unpaid internship. All assuming the hours are not over reaching for the pay. But we really don't know the entire story so maybe we shouldn't jump to calling it BS.
